  25. The way I understand it (and I could be totally wrong), 266 and 300 MHz
  26. chips both roll off the same line, are produced from the same dies, etc. The
  27. only difference is in testing, where some are unreliable past a certain
  28. clock speed. These are stamped with a "266", while the small percentage that
  29. pass the 300 MHz test are sold for substantially more.

  31. All that being the case, aren't you contradicting DEC's own rating for a
  32. given chip, as determined right at the factory? Are bigger heat sinks a
  33. solution to this?
